Course Overview
This is a Live Webinar event that will be held on December 16, 2024 - 5am AWST, 8am AEDT, 10am NZDT.
This is the 15th course (however, don’t worry, you can take them in any order) in a series called Integrative Nutrition and will cover biomedical and integrative science of nutrition and explore the complementary and alternative concepts that are part of the modern supplement industry. This series will be one live class per month covering a category of nutrition and will include some basic biochemistry, nutrition, and supplements available on the market. In other words, it is going to be the perfect combination of biochemical nutrition, supplements, Chinese medicine, and real-world use cases, If you are a practitioner of any stripe or just interested in nutrition, this is the series for you.
This class will examine major biological supplements and the physiological biochemistry supporting their use. We will examine them from a modern nutritional and chemical perspective while always having an eye on how they may explain some of the actions of Chinese medical herbs and vice versa. And we will be looking at the science of those supplements, trying to answer the question: do they work? There will be a lot of information and it will be immediately useful for treating our patients.
The recordings will be made available for you to review after the event!
