Course Overview
This is a two-part, fully video-based course.
In Part One, Jason Stein introduces practitioners to the process of Nonviolent Communication, using that framework to discuss different ways to relate to and connect with patients, understand the feelings and needs that drive us, and establish healthy boundaries that will benefit both practitioners and their patients.
In Part Two, Jason provides a brief history of ethics in both the TCM and Western medical worlds before moving on to present a wide array of ethics-based considerations and scenarios relevant to modern-day TCM practitioners. Topics include defining ethics, ethics versus laws, identifying one's core values, and considerations around practitioners' scope of practice.
