    Introduction, Western physiology of pregnancy, embryology, placentation, & elements of Western pregnancy care

  • 4 hrs - 4.5 hrs

    Reframing herbology: herbs for qi, blood, yin, & essence

  • 4.5 hrs - 6.75 hrs

    Acupuncture protocols for the prevention of metabolic disorders of pregnancy

  • 6.75 hrs - 8 hrs

    TCM pattern id and treatment strategies for diseases of early pregnancy

  • 8 hrs - 9 hrs

    TCM pattern ID and treatment strategies for complications of pregnancy & postpartum care

  • 9 hrs - 10 hrs

    TCM pattern ID and treatment strategies of leucorrhea, mastitis, lactation, & postpartum depression

Valerie Hobbs has been a health care provider since 1979. She began her career as a direct-entry midwife in 1979 and maintained a midwifery practice until 1995 when she became a licensed acupuncturist. Seeking additional skills, Valerie also worked as an EMT-Paramedic from 1983-86.
