This course provides an excellent introduction to the clinical presentation of concussions and post-concussion syndrome, as well as the underlying pathophysiology involved. Topics include:

Objectives

Understand the pathophysiology of concussions and why concussions are predominantly a functional disorder.

Identify the different types of clinical presentations of post-concussion syndrome and what drives the symptomatology.

Deepen awareness of chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
