Course Overview

In this fully video-based course Yuki Itaya, DAOM, introduces viewers to the thinking and protocols of Koshiishi-style moxibustion. As an assistant teacher to Koshiishi sensei, Dr. Itaya is the only authorized instructor of Koshiishi-style moxibustion outside of Japan. Dr. Itaya has taught courses on moxibustion, as well as the famed Mukaino M-Test Method, around the world. Further, Yuki is a trustee of the important UK-based charity Moxafrica, which researches applications of direct moxibustion in the treatment of tuberculosis in the developing world. In this presentation, Dr. Itaya will lecture her clinical specialties, which include using 'thread' moxibustion for pain treatment and skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

Yuki Itaya graduated from Emperor’s College, Santa Monica, in 2006. She is a trustee with MOXAFRICA, a British charity that is researching Japanese-style direct moxibustion as an adjunctive treatment for tuberculosis in developing nations.
