Honora Lee Wolfe

Honora Lee Wolfe began her studies in alternative health in 1975, becoming a founder and the first Director of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Ms. Wolfe went on to study tuina massage at the Shanghai College of TCM and completed her acupuncture training in 1988. She has taught at many national and regional acupuncture colleges and conferences in North America and Europe, and is the author or co-author of several books in the field of Chinese medicine. In addition to her focus of teaching courses on adjunctive therapies such as tuina protocols, bleeding techniques, and moxibustion, in 2003 Honora began a side specialty in classes on practice management and success. She has spent years writing, lecturing, and consulting on subjects related to the business of acupuncture.

 

Honora founded Blue Poppy alongside her husband Bob Flaws in 1982. In 2010, Honora and Bob retired from Blue Poppy and now run the Boulder Valley Ngakpa House, a Tibetan Buddhist practice center in Colorado.
