Course 3 has twenty-four videos with over 1.75 hours of clinical education where Matt Callison visually presents MMT protocols and acupuncture to help refine the acupuncturists skills when assessing and treating Low Back, Hip and Lower Extremity injuries.

Objectives

  • Be able to test and treat many different muscles that act on the lumbar spine, hip, groin, knee and ankle.

  • Understand specific acupuncture points that will have a direct affect on muscles that are painful and/or weak.

  • The practitioner will learn to use manual muscle testing for postural conditions such as with an elevated ilium.

  • The practitioner will see the signifance of using MMT in many different muscle imbalances.

Outline

  • 0 hrs - 30 min

    The practitioner will learn and examine the myofascial stregth and neurological ability to create and sustain contration.

  • 30 min - 1 hrs

    The practitioner will learn MMT and Acupuncture for many different muscles that act on the lumbar spine, hip, groin, knee and ankle.

  • 1 hrs - 1.5 hrs

    The practitioner will learn how different conditions can create muscle weakness and how to examine and test for these conditions. Acupuncture will also be visually presented and discussed.

  • 1.5 hrs - 1.75 hrs

    The practitioner will see the signifance of using MMT in many different muscle imbalances.
