Course Overview

Accurate point location and appropriate needle protocols are essential aspects of the Saam acupuncture tradition.

 

In this course, we will explore best practices for ensuring correct point location. We will then look at applying the precise needle protocols required for each acupuncture point. This will be done for the supplementing four-point combinations for all twelve channels.

 

Throughout the discussion, pre-recorded videos will display proper protocols for both location and needle protocols. These videos will allow participants to critically evaluate the clinical skills of assessment and insertion protocols.

Toby began studying Chinese medicine in 1997 with a Korean monk trained in the Saam tradition. In 2016, he completed a PhD in Classical Chinese Medicine under the guidance of Daoist priest Jeffery Yuen. His current focus is on sharing his clinical experience with the Saam tradition.
