Course Overview

In this course Paul Movsessian will cover:

 

Application of moxa from direct to indirect, smoke & smokless moxa, scaring and non-scaring methods & alternatives.

 

Dr. Manaka Tai Ji moxa treatment - good for complex, chronic conditions or advanced conditions of vacuity.

 

Nam Su Kim's Korean Tai Ji moxa treatment: the Wu Ji Health-Preservation Moxibustion applies direct moxibustion on 8 meridian points (12 points for men and 13 points for women). It is a simple constitutional treatment done regularly to maintain health.

 

Itaya's Supplementary Points - Kazuko Itaya has devised a simple treatment method designed to simultaneously address step two Yang treatment and symptom control concerns.

Dr. Manaka's ear treatment - In a similar vein, Manaka describes an interesting treatment for ear problems such as deafness.

 

Moxa and Channel stretching for stubborn musculo skeletal problems as well as Yang channel treatments.

 

Two Point Moxa Therapy using Qi Gong postures, sounds and moxa.

 

Daily Channel Biorhythms or Circadian Treatments - taking advantage of the element out of balance with the time of day that treatment is given, as well as daily tonification and dispersion points that change every 2 hours.

 

Ten Day and Sixty Day Channel Biorhythms Points - using Stems and Branches with moxa.

 

Manaka's Polar Channel treatments using color therapy and moxa.

 

Moxa Through and Through for joint problems, as well as moxa for inflammation, insect bites, warts, corns and skin tags.

  • 2.5 hrs - 3.5 hrs

    Visual Presentation of Itaya lipoma IND treatment and Dr. Manaka's Ear Problem treatment. Visual Presentation of channel stretch treatment. Comments from practice session. Selecting Yang Channel Points, Four Channel Sets and Polar Pairs.

  • 3.5 hrs - 4.5 hrs

    Visual Presentation of Four Channel set treatment. Comments about Four Channel set practice. Two Point Moxa Therapy. Metronome Frequencies.

  • 4.5 hrs - 6 hrs

    Manaka's Biorhythmic Treatments and the Body/Chinese Clock. Visual Presentation of Manaka's Biorhythmic Treatments and the Body/Chinese Clock. Comments from practice.

  • 6 hrs - 7.5 hrs

    Open Points: 10 Day & 60 Day and Color Therapy Moxa. Visual Presentation of Color Therapy Moxa. Comments on Color Therapy from practice sessions, Moxa through and through, Inflammation, Insect Bites Warts/Corns, and Skin Tags.
