Ever gotten the all too common question: how does acupuncture work? Why are you putting a needle in my foot when my head hurts? How are herbs different from medications?
We've all been there, and we all have our ways to answer these all-too-common questions. If you're looking for some additional tools to put in your FAQ toolkit of answers, this course is for you.

Outline
0 hrs - 15 min
First, we go through a brief introduction of the course where expectations are managed. We then transition to managing patient expectations and best practices for patient onboarding.
15 min - 30 min
Communication is key in this section. We get into details of communicating informed consent, financial policy, report of findings, initial intake, and treatment plans. We then address common objections to these tools.
30 min - 45 min
As we summarize the course, we also address common frictions with patients. We problem solve for ways to reduce friction so patients can get the care they need.
45 min - 1 hrs
Here, we do an exercise to get more comfortable with patient communication. We address the most common concerns patients have with our care.
1 hrs - 1.25 hrs
Here, we manage the course expectations. This is the course intro where we discuss what we will learn in the next hour.
1.25 hrs - 1.75 hrs
We review the bulk of the course here. Several common patient questions are posed, with examples of how to answer.
1.75 hrs - 2 hrs
In the closing of the course, we recap what we have learned. We also set the stage for how to answer other questions that may come up.
2 hrs - 2.5 hrs
