In the course, students will learn natural approaches to Women's Health.

Specifically, the following women's health conditions will be explored: -- Menstruation, Fertility, Gestational Issues, Postpartum Wellbeing, Candida.

 

The natural approaches will include

1. Nutritional recommendations from food as medicine point of view

2. Supplemental recommendations

3. Herbal recommendations (Chinese, Ayurvedic, Native American, Ancestral, Western and others)

4. Lifestyle recommendations

5. Gemstones

6. Aromatherapy

In addition, specific coaching strategies for working with patients with these conditions and situations that will help to improve treatment outcomes.

Objectives

  • The natural approaches will include -Nutritional recommendations from a food as medicine point of view, Supplemental recommendations, Herbal recommendations. (Chinese, Ayurvedic, Native American, Ancestral, Western, and others)

Outline

  • 0 hrs - 30 min

    Foundations of women's health including causes of menstrual disorders, fertility, gestational issues and postpartum issues as well as modern approaches both mainstream and alternative.

  • 30 min - 1 hrs

    Supplements, herbs, lifestyle, for optimal women's health including strategies for managing menstrual disorders, infertility, gestational issues, postpartum conditions and candida.

  • 1 hrs - 1.5 hrs

    Aromatherapy and gemstones for optimal women's health including strategies for managing menstrual disorders, infertility, gestational issues, postpartum conditions and candida.

  • 1.5 hrs - 2 hrs

    Review, summary and coaching strategies for improving treatment outcomes in women's health treatments.
