Students and fellow practitioners often ask me what makes an average acupuncture treatment an optimal one. My answer always revolves around the point combinations used for the treatment. What is your strategy? <\/p>\n
Learning acupuncture point combinations (APC’s) allows practitioners to use fewer points in their treatments, saving time and possible patient discomfort. You will learn how points should be grouped together, to provide optimal treatment results for different conditions like mental and emotional turmoil, musculoskeletal complaints, sports injuries, and so much more.<\/p>\n
The course will discuss the reasons behind why acupuncture point combinations matter. Then we immerse ourselves in 26 different APC’s from modern, pre-modern and classical texts. Each of these APC’s are defined, analysed, queried, and sometimes even edited slightly. All of this is done in order to better understand each of the acupuncture point combinations.<\/p>\n
