Drawing on the huge body of literature documenting these outcomes, this class will teach practitioners of Chinese medicine the skills they need to safely treat patients on Western meds.<\/p>\n<p>The course discusses a three part system for evaluating the Western meds using Chinese medicine principles, reframing the patient&#8217;s Western medical disease diagnosis into the corresponding traditional Chinese disease categories and then forming a treatment plan based on these evaluations including how to handle adverse reactions and herxheimer reactions.
