The recent years has seen some very severe pathology, such as complete tendon rupture, that keeps the athlete in a recovery mode for a year or even longer. It is safe to assume that the sports acupuncturist will see such patients, and will need to be well informed and trained on the subject. In this webinar, we offer instruction and some perspectives on assessment and treatment using acupuncture, meridian therapy, and anatomical needling protocols.<\/p>\n<p>We will include the following:<br \/>\n1. The gluteal tendon<br \/>\nPoints: Jiankua, Gall Bladder channel<\/p>\n<p>2. The quad tendon superior to the patella<br \/>\nPoints: Baichongwo, Spleen and Stomach channels, the rectus femoris (St 31).<\/p>\n<p>3. Lateral epicondyle<br \/>\nNeedling epicondylitis, the tendinopathy, and inflammation at the muscle-tendon junction.<\/p>\n<p>4. Hamstring acute strain of the muscle and\/or tendon<br \/>\nBladder 37, muscle bands lateral and medial to Bladder 37 and the Bladder channel.<\/p>\n<p>5. The Calf (the gastrocnemius\/soleus group) with acute strain in the muscle or the region of the achilles tendon<br \/>\nBladder 57, muscle bands in the region of the muscle<\/p>\n<p>6. The Biceps tendon (long head of the bicepital tendon)<br \/>\nLung 3, Lung 4, Ahshi points in the biceps muscles muscles belly<\/p>\n<p>We will include acupuncture general acupuncture protocols<br \/>\n1. The jing well point<br \/>\n2. The muscle belly<br \/>\n3. The muscle-tendon junction<br \/>\n4. Upper\/lower mirroring<br \/>\n5. Cupping<br \/>\n6.
