Course Overview
Please Note: This is an Audio and Reading Course.
Do you like the effects of moxibustion on your patients, but don't enjoy working in a cloud of smoke? Would you like to know how to make your own moxa floss or be able to judge the quality of various moxa flosses available on the market today? Would you like to know more about the differing types of direct moxibustion and how you can immediately put those techniques to use in your private practice?
Pressing moxibustion was the original method of using the moxa stick. It is a much more efficient method of delivering focused head and moxa qi than suspended moxibustion. Because it is more efficient, it is quicker and less smoke is released into the air. Since medicated cloths are sometimes used with pressing moxibustion, instructions to make your own cloths are included with the class.
