Treatment and Prevention of Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia, and Alzheimer's Disease: An Evidence-Based Asian Medicine Approach
This comprehensive course explores the integration of Asian Medicine with current neuroscience research for the treatment and prevention of cognitive decline. Students will examine Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), dementia, and Alzheimer's disease through both Western and Eastern medical perspectives, with emphasis on evidence-based interventions.
The curriculum reviews contemporary research on cognitive disorders from a Western medical standpoint, alongside clinical studies investigating the efficacy of traditional Asian medical modalities.
