This two explores the first dimension of psychospiritual development primarily relating to meeting survival needs, self-regulation, safety and bodily awareness.

 

Components including neuroception and the nervous and autonomic nervous system's responses to safety and fear, how modern perspectives such as polyvagal theory inform this dimension, and how early life and significant life experiences such as trauma can become somatocized into and affect the physical body are explored.

 

Acupuncture approaches, exercises, and lifestyle suggestions to support or work with imbalances within this dimension are explored.
