Course Overview
Please Note: This is an Audio Course.
This course details the causes, mechanisms, and Chinese medicine treatments of fibrocystic breast disease and interstitial cystitis.
In Part 1, Bob Flaws details fibrocystic changes in the breast which commonly occur as part of aging and may predispose a woman to the development of breast cancer. Bob carefully discriminates the differences in the acupuncture and Chinese medical treatment of this condition in different age groups and especially focuses on the multi-pattern presentations which are commonly seen in women 35-50 years old.
In Part 2, Bob underscores the importance of not letting the word “cystitis” color one’s Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis. He also presents a recently developed research formula for IC which has proven to be effective in clinical trials. Acupuncture protocols and Chinese herbal formulas are given for all patterns discussed as well as lifestyle adjustments and considerations.
