Acupuncturists and practitioners of Chinese Medicine are often the last stop for patients with difficult conditions. These patients often experience a loss of hope struggling with their condition coupled with anger towards the medical establishment. Learning to spot the warning signs of violence can be the difference in helping you safeguard yourself, your staff and your patients.
This class will help you better assess and prevent violence in your patient population. The course materials consist of several required on-line readings about assessing and preventing patient violence as well as a short digital audio file by Bob Flaws on the importance of this course.
