Concerns about purity, potency, and proper dosage of ready-made Chinese medicines have grown in the last few years.

 

In this course, Bob Flaws explains how to assess the purity of Chinese ready-made medicines, how to assess the potency of Chinese ready-made medicines, and how to determine proper dosages of Chinese ready-made medicines.

 

Participants will learn about aristolochic acid, pyrrizolidines, plate counts, heavy metals, concentration ratios, the Commission on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), good manufacturing procedures (GAP), and good dispensing procedures (GDP). This course provides a wealth of information to determine the quality and potency of the medicines you dispense in clinic.
