When Bob Flaws was teaching, students often asked him how to treat a broad range of diseases with acupuncture. Since Chinese medicine as a system addresses patterns, not diseases. To that end, Bob attempted to help such students reframe their questions, and thus, their thinking .
This program presents a methodology for how to compose an acupuncture formula for any pattern that causes disease, and to apply the knowledge very quickly in a clinical practice. a step-by-step methodology for choosing treatment protocols, two types of diagnosis: patterns and diseases, special acupuncture protocols for complex pattern presentations, the importance or treatment principles and Chinese medicine's "Magic Funnel", keys for improving questioning skills, how to discriminate complicated cases with multi-pattern conditions, and why western patients present with certain combinations of disease patterns.
