Allergies and auto-immune diseases are considered ""difficult to treat, knotty diseases"" in Chinese medicine. Bob Flaws has spent the last 20 years treating complex American patients—as well as hundreds of hours researching both the ancient and modern Chinese medical literatures—in order to find the best way to understand and treat such complex, recalcitrant conditions.
